Our Story 

TyAva Yorkies is a family passion shared by mother and daughter, Ava and Missy. The "Ty" in TyAva honors Ty, whose love and dedication helped shape the program that continues today.

For decades, Ava has devoted her life to Yorkshire Terriers, earning recognition as an AKC Breeder of Merit and producing more than 65 champions, including two dogs ranked #1 in the nation. One of Ava's dogs has won 8 Best in Show titles and 31 Best in Specialty Show wins. We are proud our my dogs' accomplishments in and out of the conformation ring, including the beautiful litters they've parented.  Our puppies share their parents' great pedigree and their wonderful temperaments and health.

While championships are exciting, what matters most to us is producing healthy, well-socialized Yorkies with wonderful temperaments that become lifelong companions. When you bring home a TyAva puppy, you become part of our extended family.

Our dogs live in our home and a kennel on our property.

We are members of Yorkshire Terrier Club of America, Inc. and Atlanta Kennel Club. And we are an AKC Breeder of Merit.
